The University of Exeter Bot Club has its boat house and training ground in a superb purpose built boathouse adjacent to an inlet in the river. However the river bank is a mixture of concrete and marsh where their athletes often struggled to launch their delicate rowing skiffs without damage!
A quick call to Airfloat and we had the solution. Due to the unique system of being able to ballast our system and lowering it relative to the water, we were able to provide a durable sytem that was low enough in the water for the rowers have easy access to safely launch their boats.
In a location with not great access, once again Marine Services with their crane trailer came to the rescue and were able to deliver and install the system alongside the river with no extra cost for cranes or otherwise.
In and out in the day, the University management and rowers alike were delighted with the speed at which the project was executed.
